This logo reflects our belief in building a system where IP grows. By designing creator-to-creator collaboration, we’re building a C2C2C (Creator to Creator to Consumer) publishing model—where fan creators co-create with original creators around an IP, works connect into a network, and a single work evolves into a stronger IP.
DouDouDoujin started in November 2022 as a venture from Mizuku Printing Co., Ltd. (est. 1885), and incorporated after being selected for JETRO’s GSAP (Global Startup Accelerator Program) in September 2023. After securing early financing in June 2024, we launched our service in October 2024.
From March to April 2025, we ran a pilot to validate our core idea: creator-to-creator collaboration can be intentionally designed. Across three original titles, overseas creators produced 1,300+ fan creations—demonstrating how fan works can accelerate a title’s global reach. Since October 2025, we’ve launched a digital distribution project to release overseas manga in Japan, expand our network of global original creators, and have received 100+ applications to date. Next, we’ll validate monetization—creating an environment where the more fan creations earn, the more original creators benefit, aligned with original creators through a shared goal.

Next, we’ll validate monetization—building a system where the more fan creations earn, the more original creators benefit, aligning both around the shared goal of growing IP together.
We publish and promote manga across borders— supporting Japanese indie creators’ overseas expansion and introducing outstanding overseas manga to Japan through translation. We also run voice contests on our platform and publish selected works in our magazine, giving voice actors tangible credits and new opportunities.
Fan Voice Actor
The best part was being able to interact indirectly with creators overseas through their works. The internet allows us to connect across distances, so I'd love to see more events that anyone can join and enjoy, and I'd love to participate!
Fan Voice Actor
The collaboration with an Indonesian manga site felt like experiencing a drama CD! It was a fresh and exciting experience. I'd love to participate again!
Fan Voice Actor
Engaging with Indonesian doujin content sparked my own creativity. I hope to continue building relationships and raising the quality of voice acting as audio works, leading to even better creations for both sides.
Fan Voice Actor
Discussing the intentions behind the scenes with partners and deeply considering how to express the story was a valuable learning experience for my future in voice acting.
Fan Voice Actor
If I were to be honest, I've always had a strong desire to voice my favorite manga and preserve it as a work of art! I wanted to make the original creators so happy they'd cry, but I've kept that feeling bottled up for years. In the end, I won the Original Creator Award for both works I submitted, which was the best proof that the creators were delighted…!! Turning it into a contest, rather than just a simple voice acting play, allowed all participants to pour their pride as performers into creating 'audio works.'
